Students had an incredible two-day experience with Mad Science and a field trip to Billy Bishop Airport, exploring flight science, meeting real-life pilots and engineers, and learning about aviation careers.
Day 1: Through hands-on experiments, they discovered the Four Forces of Flight and crafted paper aircraft, including a take-home Skyhawk model.
Day 2: At Billy Bishop Airport, they explored aircraft up close, met inspiring female speakers in aviation, and engaged with interactive exhibits like flight simulations. Limited exploration flights for students ages 8-17 gave many a thrilling first flight experience!
